Gerald Coetzee takes second fastest delivery in IPL history, Pips Mayank Yadav’s season record

While Rajasthan Royals registered a comfortable victory against Mumbai Indians and the commentators were busy congratulating the maiden IPL champions for their impressive start, Gerald Coetzee had quietly broken the record for the fastest delivery of the season by sending a lightning strike at 157.4 km/h in Riyan Parag.

Mayank has been clocked at 150 kmph as many as three times, with 155.8 kmph being the fastest of all as he set the record for the fastest delivery in IPL 2024. However, one day later Coetzee of MI replaced him at the top of this list. .
