India vs Bangladesh, live scores 2nd T20I: IND 47/1 (5.2 ov); Rain stops play as Hemalatha gives India good start | Cricket News

India vs Bangladesh, 2nd Women's T20I Live Score: Radha Yadav led the way in the bowling attack with three wickets as India restricted Bangladesh to 119 at the Sylhet International Cricket Stadium in Sylhet in the second T20I.

Radha finished with figures of 3/19 while Deepti Sharma and Shreyanka Patil collected two each. Murshida Khatun was the top scorer with 46 for the hosts.

Nigar Sultana elected to bat first after winning the toss. After a convincing 44-run win in the first match, Harmanpreet Kaur and Co will look for a better show with the bat and take a 2-0 lead in the five-match series.

Bangladesh brought in Ritu Moni while India had to call on D Hemalatha in place of the troubled Yastika Bhatia.

The margin of victory was big enough for a T20I, but India's batting effort was disappointing in the second half. From 100/2 in 12.2 overs, the next 46 balls brought only 45 runs. This was a problem for a while as they struggled to accelerate. Harmanpreet admitted after the match that it was an issue that needed to be resolved. With the ball, however, India were clinical throughout the match in restricting Bangladesh, with Renuka Singh Thakur picking up three wickets.

For Bangladesh, barring captain Nigar Sultana, none of the batters could put up a fight in the run chase of 146. Sultana's 51, the top scorer for both teams, was not enough as Bangladesh mustered just 101 for 8 in 20 overs. .
