Lucknow Super Giants fast bowler Naveen-ul-Haq's social media post went viral just a day after controversy erupted over team owner Sanjiv Goenka's angry conversation with the skipper. KL Rahul. Cameras caught Goenka having a fiery conversation with Rahul after LSG collapsed in a 10-wicket defeat against Sunrisers Hyderabad and the episode drew massive criticism from fans online and from various experts. Although there is no direct connection to the entire episode, many fans online thought that the post could be a show of support towards KL Rahul in the whole incident.

Earlier, Indian cricket team fast bowler Mohammed Shami spoke out on the subject and said that such behavior from an IPL team owner sends a “wrong message”.

“Millions of people are watching you and learning from you. If these things happen in front of the cameras and you see such reactions on screen, it's shameful,” Shami said on 'Cricbuzz Live'.

You should have a day to speak, this message goes very badly. (You should have boundaries, there is a way to talk. It sends a very bad message.)”

Shami also said that it should not have been a public incident and the conversation could have taken place inside the locker room.

“It's very important to note that the players are respected, and you are also a respectful person as an owner. It's not that you suddenly speak out,” Shami said.

“If you have to do this, there are many different ways. You could have done the same thing in the dressing room or in the hotel. It was not necessary to do it on the field. You had no such reaction when I saw a red feather. (You did not hoist a flag on the Red Fort by doing what you did),” Shami said.
