Official: Barcelona 4-2-3-1 starting XI vs Las Palmas

Barcelona are back from the international break and will hope to maintain their previous form when they take on Las Palmas in La Liga matchweek 30.

This match is not only important to keep the pressure on Real Madrid, but it will also serve as an appetizer for what could be in store for fans when Barca travel to France to face PSG in the Champions League.

While some reports claimed that Vitor Roque would start this match, Xavi once again opted for Robert Lewandowski, perhaps in anticipation of the PSG clash.

The La Masia striker will be armed with Raphinha on his left and Lamine Yama on his right while Ferran Torres will return to the bench after a few months.

In midfield, Ilkay Gundogan was therefore forced to start another match with Pedri, Gavi and Frenkie de Jong injured. Sergi Roberto will form a double pivot with him, while Fermin Lopez will get the nod to start as an attacking midfielder.

Ronald Araujo was left out of the squad for this match, so Inigo Martinez gets the nod to start as a left centre-back, alongside Pau Cubarsi in the heart of the backline.

Jules Kounde retains his right-back spot after a string of impressive performances, while Joao Cancelo returns to the team after missing the Atletico Madrid game as a precaution.

This back four will be given the responsibility of guarding Marc-Andre ter Stegen, who had a rather successful international break with Germany.

Confirmed XI: ter Roasting; Koundé, Cubarsi, Inigo, Cancelo; Gundogan, Robert; Yamal, Fermin, Leaf; Lewandowski
