Sachin Tendulkar and Yuvraj Singh fail to keep calm after KKR's IPL final win: '…fearless mentorship from Gambhir and SRK'

Kolkata Knight Riders clinched their third IPL title on Sunday after winning the battle for supremacy against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the final at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai. Shreyas Iyer ended KKR's decade-long wait and led his team to a title triumph with an 8-wicket win on Sunday night. Very good hitter Sachin Tendulkar praised KKR for their overall performance in the tournament for clinching the title as he mentioned Gautam Gambhir and Shah Rukh Khan, co-owner of KKR, in his congratulatory message.

“What a consistent performance from @KKRiders! Their batting started the campaign strongly, but it was the bowlers who took center stage in the latter stages of the tournament. All their bowlers contributed tonight, taking wickets and making the relatively easy chase Congratulations to all the players and coaching staff for winning their franchise's third trophy @GautamGambhir and @iamsrk,” Tendulkar wrote on X!

Meanwhile, he also spoke about the Sunrisers who played fearless cricket in the championship stage.

Special credit to @ShreyasIyer15 for leading the team brilliantly on the field and executed the plans so well Great to see earlier Nehra ji and now Gautam succeed as mentors and win their #IPL2024 team championships,” he wrote on X.
