'To Rohit Sharma, Hardik Pandya…': Nita Ambani on MI's 'disappointing' IPL 2024 campaign

Mumbai Indians (MI) had a forgettable 2024 Indian Premier League (IPL) season finishing in tenth place with just four wins from 14 matches.

Nita Ambani, owner of MI, gave a heartwarming speech to help boost the team's morale after a rather disappointing IPL 2024 season, as she admitted that they did not have a good outing this time around.

Mumbai Indians released a video on social media in which Nita Ambani addressed the dressing room.

“Disappointing season for all of us. Things didn't go the way we wanted, but I'm still a big Mumbai Indians fan. Not just an owner. I think wearing the Mumbai Indians jersey is a huge honor and a privilege, and being associated with the Mumbai Indians, for me, is an honor and a privilege. I think we're going to come back and look at it and think about it,” Nita said in the video.

Nita Ambani also wished good luck to the MI players who will represent India in the 2024 T20 World Cup.

“To Rohit, Hardik, Surya (Suryakumar Yadav) and (Jasprit) Bumrah, I think all Indians are rooting for you. We wish you all the best,” she said.
