Arjun Tendulkar had a dream start to the IPL 2024, taking the big wicket of Marcus Stoinis in his very first over. However, he was left disappointed after third umpire Jayaraman Madanagopal overturned the decision after Stoinis took the DRS.

After Hardik Pandya won the toss and asked LSG to bat first, Arjun Tendulkar, who replaced Jasprit Bumrah, received the new ball before the second inning of MI. And he started magnificently, and almost got the reward when his long ball delivered through middle and leg stump hit the pads of Stoinis.

Arjun animatedly asked for an LBW, and a few seconds later the umpire also raised his finger. While Tendulkar celebrated, Stoinis immediately took the DRS while flashing a cheeky smile.

Stoinis knew the ball would have gone over the stumps. The replay showed exactly the same thing and as a result, Tendulkar's emotions changed quickly.
