Riding on the incredible performances of the pacers, Kolkata Knight Riders pushed Sunrisers Hyderabad to the ground in the finale of the ongoing season of the Indian Premier League.

After Mitchell Starc derailed the Orange Army with another sensational spell of the ball, Andre Russell got the valuable wicket of Aiden Markram, who looked sublime in the middle.

The incident occurred during the eleventh innings of SRH, when Markram was steadying the ship alongside Heinrich Klaasen.

Bringing Russell into the attack proved to be a masterstroke on the part of Shreyas Iyer, with the West Indies ace all-rounder getting rid of the South African captain in the T20I.

After conceding a single off his first delivery, Russell hit it short outside off stump. Markram opted for an aggressive shot in a bid to draw a boundary and break the chains.

However, his efforts were in vain as he hit straight at Mitchell Starc, who took a simple catch near the long fence.

After getting Markram's wicket, Russell was absolutely pumped, while Pat Cummins was stunned in the SRH dugout. KKR mentor Gautam Gambhir felt relaxed while smiling with Chandrakant Pandit.

Meanwhile, SRH lost six wickets, reeling at 77 for six in 12.3 overs.
