Experienced all-rounder Shadab Khan once again showcased his extraordinary defensive skills as his exceptional catch sent Mark Chapman back to safety in the ongoing fourth T20I between Pakistan and New Zealand.

The incident occurred on the 14th when Chapman and Dean Foxcroft were trying to steady the BlackCaps ship following the dismissal of half-centurion Tim Robinson.

Babar AzamThe decision to bring Iftikhar Ahmed into the attack paid off, with the outgoing player taking out the dangerous Chapman.

Iftikhar started positively, conceding only three runs from his first two deliveries. He followed it with a bad ball, throwing it short and into Chapman's arc.

Seeing a short delivery, the left-hander's eyes lit up, as he hit hard, the ball traveling quickly through the air.

However, Shadab had other ideas, as he timed his dive to perfection, landing an exceptional catch at the covers.

After Chapman left, Foxcroft also bit the dust, becoming Usama Mir's first victim. However, the experienced duo of Jimmy Neesham and Michael Bracewell joined forces to ensure a perfect finish for the visitors.

At the time of writing, New Zealand were 164 for four in 18 overs, with Neesham and Bracewell batting on 5* and 24*, respectively.
