NEW DELHI: Navjot Singh Sidhu, the charismatic former cricketer turned commentator and politician, has never shied away from expressing his opinions, especially when it comes to recognizing young talents.
During an exciting meeting in Chennai, Sunrisers Hyderabad have obtained their place in the IPL2024 title clash against Horsemen Knights of Calcutta by securing a convincing 36-point victory against Rajasthan Royals in qualifier 2.
The standout performers of the match were the left-arm spin all-rounder duo of Shahbaz Ahmed And Abhishek Sharmawho combined to snatch five crucial wickets, significantly disrupting the Rajasthan Royals batting line-up.
Abhishek, who had bowled just three overs in 14 matches before that pivotal evening, suddenly showed a remarkable transformation in his bowling prowess.
